How it works

Four steps, one paper trail.

You give us the facts. We take them to the people who can act on them, keep pressing when they go quiet, and show you every message and reply along the way.

  1. Step 01

    Find the company

Search our directory of more than 10,000 companies by name or browse by category. Each entry tells you what we know: which executive customer service channels exist, how many contact levels we maintain, and when we last reviewed them.

The directory is maintained by hand. Bounced messages flag a contact for review; contacts not verified within 12 months are re-checked or replaced. If your company is missing, you can request it and we will research it before adding it.

  2. Step 02

    Describe the issue

Choose a category (billing, refund, product defect, service issue, or other), then tell us what happened in plain language: dates, amounts, order or account references, what you have already tried, and what outcome would put it right.

Attach receipts, statements, screenshots, or correspondence. Files are stored privately and used only for your case. For billing and medical-adjacent issues we show guidance on sharing only what is needed. We never ask for your Social Security number or any password, and our staff tooling flags either if it appears.

  3. Step 03

    Verify once

Before your first case is sent, you confirm your phone number with a text-message code and your email address with a link. This happens once; later cases skip it.

Verification is the reason our messages get answered. Companies know that a CallRed case comes from a real person with a real grievance, not a bot or a pile-on. It also lets us keep spam and harassment off the service and gives you an appeal path if a case is ever flagged in error.

  4. Step 04

We message, follow up, and escalate

A member of our staff reviews your case, resolves the right executive contact from the directory, and prepares a professional, firm, factual message from an approved template. It is sent by email to the executive customer service team. We record who received it and when.

If there is no reply, we follow up automatically: a polite reminder on day 4, a firmer follow-up on day 8, and a final notice on day 12. If the company is still silent, we escalate to the next contact up the chain, typically VP-level or corporate. Every send, reply, and escalation is logged in your account with a timestamp.

When the company replies, we attach the response to your case and ask you one question: does this resolve your issue? If not, we keep going. A case is marked resolved only when you confirm it, or when our staff verifies a concrete outcome such as a refund issued or a charge corrected. A reply alone never closes a case.

If the company never answers

On a paid case, if 30 days pass after our first message with no substantive response, we refund the full amount. For Plus members, one such case refunds the annual charge. If a company stops replying mid-thread, the follow-up schedule resumes. At the end of the process, unresolved cases close with clear options: accept the outcome, keep pushing on Plus, or take the refund if eligible.

We do not guarantee outcomes. We guarantee that the right people will see your complaint, that we will not let it drop, and that you will see everything we do. See pricing for the exact terms.
